We Love Stories
Hi there! We are Steve and Jen, and we love stories. After years of telling our kids, Gwinna and Sam, stories in the car, on walks, and just about everywhere else you can think of, we thought, “Hey, why don’t we record these and share them with other people, too?” Thus was born the idea for The Adventures of Red Knight, a comical series of short audio episodes intended to entertain in the car, at bedtime, or any other situation where your child (or you!) wants to listen to stories. And that's what we did! We spent just over a year putting together a complete season of The Adventures of Red Knight for both our enjoyment and for yours!
As parents, we know that kids will want to read or listen to their favorite content over and over (and over...and over). For this reason, we committed to a high level of production for each episode and the stories are written to entertain adults and children alike.
Steven "Steve" Gaughran
Steve is the writer and director of The Adventures of Red Knight. He is also the voice for Red Knight, Green Knight, King Dragon, and an assortment of other characters. He loves stories of all kinds, and gets very grumpy if you interrupt him while he is reading.
Jennifer "Jen" Gaughran
Jen is the producer of The Adventures of Red Knight and voices the Narrator and Pink Knight. She is a photographer, artist, has over a decade of graphic design experience, and five years of motion graphics experience. Jen helps Steve brainstorm ideas for each episode and ensures the jokes are kid-friendly.
Bernadette Joseco
Bernadette is a mild-mannered microbiologist by day, and a world-class illustrator by night. Bernadette is excited to bring this crazy bunch of crazy characters to life for us all to enjoy.
Gwinna and Sam
About 0.5 seconds after Gwinna was born, Steve and Jen discovered that kids provide a constant source of inspiration and an unceasing demand for entertainment! Gwinna is the voice of Princess Pearl, and her younger brother Sam is the voice of Captain Zort. With their helpful input, the stories ended up being pretty exciting, and some even featured spaceships and lots of explosions.
